At Transitainer WA, we’re proud to celebrate not only milestones in logistics and trade but also the personal achievements of our amazing team and their families.
Today, we extend our warmest congratulations to our colleague Kelly Thomas and her son Kai Thomas, who has officially graduated from the Qantas Group Pilot Academy (QGPA) and is now ready to take to the skies as a commercial pilot!
Kai was part of QG37, one of the largest groups to graduate from the academy. His training, delivered by Flight Training Adelaide (Queensland) at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, spanned over 55 weeks of rigorous, intensive coursework and flight instruction. The graduation ceremony took place on Friday, 18th July 2025, and included a special group photo beside a Boeing 737 at Qantas Maintenance Hangar 2 in Brisbane Airport — a truly fitting send-off for a new generation of aviators.
We’re beyond proud of Kai’s incredible dedication and determination to achieve his dreams. And to Kelly — what an amazing moment it must be to witness your son earn his wings. Congratulations to both of you from all of us here at Transitainer WA!
✈️ We can’t wait to see Captain Kai Thomas soar high — the sky is just the beginning!
