TNT has a number of fees and surcharges relating to your TNT account, Domestic, International and Sameday Time Critical shipments. All fees and surcharges are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are GST exclusive. TNT reserves the right to introduce new and/or vary its fees and surcharges from time to time. Fee*** of $15.50 will be charged per item on items which are not compatible with TNT’s sortation system and require manual handling due to size*, weight**, fragility (including glass), poor packaging (including where the parcel is unstable due to poor weight distribution) or unusual shape (including tubes, flat pack items) and dangerous goods.

*** A MHP fee will be charged for an item in addition to any other applicable surcharge for the consignment, including oversize surcharge and Dangerous Goods’ surcharge. The MHP Fee will apply per item to each and all items consigned under the same consignment note where that consignment contains Dangerous Goods, including any non-Dangerous Goods items consigned under that consignment note. (Dangerous Goods consignment notes are to contain Dangerous Goods items only.)
N.B TNT branded satchels travelling on a TNT Domestic Priority service (this includes 9:00 Express, 10:00 Express, 12:00 Express and Overnight Express) are exempt from this fee. Items shipped using a TNT branded satchel must be contained within the satchel and sealed. Note that satchels can not be used for Dangerous Goods or fragile items.
TNT is introducing a new Residential Charge for Heavy weight collection and deliveries to and from Residential Dwellings.
“Residential address means a home or private residence, including location where a business is operated from the home or residence, and/or a shipment in which the shipper has designated the delivery and/or pick up address as residential”
The weight can either be actual Dead weight or Volumetric weight, whatever is higher.
• Residential Delivery and / or collection of Consignments with a chargeable weight of 30 kg and over, but less than 100 kg AUD 63.00 per address
• Residential Delivery and / or collection of Consignments with a chargeable weight of 100 kg or ove AUD 198.00 per address
Please note that none of the new TNT Surcharges are included in the online pricing unless you tick ” Residential” . The additional Surcharges are in addition to TNT’s normal residential delivery fees ( currently 5 AUD )

A fee per shipment (per consignment note) for each request to defer the delivery date/time beyond the standard transit time.
This fee can be charged more than once per shipment and is in addition to any other applicable surcharge or fee in relation to the shipment, including the existing Redelivery/Futile Delivery fee (RED) for every failed delivery attempt.
• Day 1 to Day 2: No Book-In Storage fee will be applied for the first two days.
• Day 1 is the next business day after we receive the shipment at the destination FedEx station.
• (ST1) Day 3 and Day 4: storage fee of $50 per shipment (per consignment note), per day.
• (ST2) Day 5 onwards: storage fee of $75 per shipment (per consignment note), per day.
These fees are in addition to any other applicable surcharge or fee in relation to the shipment, including the Book-In Request fee (CB1) for each request to defer the delivery date/time beyond the standard transit time.
